LUFC Robbo set to leave?

Leeds United midfielder Andy Robinson could be about to leave Elland Road when the transfer window re opens in January.

According to reports his name as been circulated on a list of players available for transfer.

The former Swansea City player is yet to make a start this season and as only made seven substitute appearances.

The 30 year old joined from Swansea in the summer of 2009 and despite being hugely popular with the fans made only 25 starts last season.

He was rumoured to be joining Tranmere Rovers on the final day of the loan transfer window in November but it fell through at the last minute.

Grayson might also be looking to offload a few more with him wanting to bring in players to strengthen the squad in the second half of the season.

Alan Sheehan is currently on loan at Swindon Town having already spent two months on loan at Oldham Athletic earlier in the season and doesn`t look to be part of the managers future plans.

Yes he should go for his own sake, he took a drop in divisions to join Leeds although it was not for certain that was the case when he committed him self to us. But he never really turned out to be the player we were expecting.

I thought he would be the missing link in our midfield but hes flattered to deceive since he arrived and I lost patience with hm and his lack of fitness a long time ago. Wouldnt be surprised to see him go somewhere and have a short term impact though as hes that sort of player

I think if he'd become a regula starter we might have seen much more from him. He had a really good patch for the club and scored some great goals last season. I wonder who will be able to afford his wages as I can't see him going to a championship club.

I've heard he's on a very good wage. Will be goos to get him off it so Grayson can make further signings.

I know that this might sound selfish but we have to think of Leeds as a team going places & althought I personaly liked Robbo He's hasn't got that bit of quality we need to push for promotion. Grayson has done a brill job but to go further we need special players that can go that bit further. Can I wish ALL the VITAL LEEDS members a great xmas & a BRILL 2010. CHAMPIONSHIP here we come,

I liked Robbo under Macca. Had a good delivery scored quite a few aswell and scored penalties! think he gets a lot of stick that he doesnt really deserve. I remember him at Swansea (3-2) and he ripped us apart, that was when he was thinner...
