LUFC Leeds v Huddersfield Officials

Premiership referee Michael Jones will take charge of this weekend`s West Yorkshire derby at Elland Road between Leeds United and Huddersfield Town.

The Chester official has so far this season officiated 12 games showing 38 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Last season he took charge of 38 games showing 110 yellow cards and 6 reds.

The last time he took charge of a Leeds or Huddersfield game was when the two sides clashed in December 2007 when Leeds won 4-0 at Elland Road.

On that occasion he showed 5 yellow cards.

I was at that game erni, was sat in the front row of the West Stand, got absolutely soaked! Can't remember much about the referee that day, they do seem to like having the same ref for this game, P. Taylor has been in charge of the last two at their place.
