LUFC Grayson - We can't take our eye of the ball

Simon Grayson doesn`t want his players getting distracted from their league campaign with the prospect of a trip to Manchester United on the horizon.

Leeds will play Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup third round in early January if they can overcome non league Kettering at the second attempt next week.

The Whites have a very busy month ahead with eight games during December.

With the priority, getting promoted from League One Grayson wants his players minds firmly on the league programme, speaking on the official website he said "
I am sure the fans will be delighted, but we have a lot to do before that on all fronts."
We have to be professional, we can`t take our eye of the ball."

Leeds currently have a six point advantage at the top of League One and still with a game in hand.

They will now face two games a week for the next three weeks starting at Oldham Athletic in League One on Tuesday night, followed by a big West Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield Town at Elland Road on Saturday.

Grayson usually keeps them on the ball, he wont let them get complacent so I am sure he will be getting on their backs if there minds start to wander.

The league is the most important thing, I would prefer us to be out of all cup competitions.

He is right, Oldham and Huddersfield are mor important than Kettering and Accrington S to me. He said in another interview that anybody who took his eye off the ball would be out of the team...good one SG
