Grayson - Good or great?

Simon Grayson is doing a great job in League one, as he did with Blackpool. However, how far can he go, can he become the best Leeds manager since Revie?

We continually bang on about Jermaine Beckford being a fantastic striker at this level, and believe he could do a job in the championship. Most also believe that he would struggle in the Premiership.
Does this same logic apply to managers?

Take Roberto Martinez a couple of seasons ago at Swansea, everybody was raving about what a good manager he was. He got Swansea promoted and they played some fantastic football.

He then goes to the Premiership with Wigan, who although were not the greatest premiership side ever but under Steve Bruce had a solid defence.
Every week Wigan get a hammering, last game 9-1 v Spurs!

Has Martinez found that management in the Premier league is a different kettle of fish?

So players have to improve massively or step aside as a team moves up the leagues, does this also apply for managers?

What do you think, is Grayson a great League One manager but no more than that or does he have that something special that can make him a Leeds legend?

For what it`s worth, I think he has great potential and hope that he will lead us to great things.

So far he's changed the fortunes of the side around dramatically in less than 12 months. He's also done it without spending much cash. I think he will definitely take us back to the Premiership, when we get there though I doubt he will get the financial help required to see us challenging for honours.

Forgot to add, enjoyed the article YKS.

The man is god, doesn't take poor performances from anyone and keeps them all on their toes and the vast majority of his signings have worked wonders.

Was a slow start when he first joined. But you just gotta look at our home run and form this season, the defence has been most improved by a mile

We have broke so many records since his arrival, ones that were set by the great Revie side as well.
King Billy
Hes done great since he arrived turning under achieving players into achievers and sifting the dross out pretty quickly. They say the sign of a good manager is improving the team before he needs to ???? Well three new arrivals came in today to keep people on their toes which means hes spotted weakness before it hurts us. I think he will go all the way.
