LUFC Grayson - The best so far

Simon Grayson believes the 3-0 win at Brighton on Saturday is the clubs best all round performance of the season so far.

Speaking on The Football League Show, Grayson said "We showed real good desire, attitude, work rate and quality on the ball, overall everything put together, I think that`s our best performance of the season."

Leeds went to an inform Brighton who had won both games under new boss Gus Poyet but they had no answer for Leeds clinical finishing.

Robert Snodgrass started the scoring with a wonderfully executed left foot shot, Beckford doubled the lead with a good control and clinical finish and Neil Kilkenny rounded things off at the end with a good finish after good work from substitute David Prutton.

The win also sees Leeds extend their lead at the top of League One to six points with a game in hand with most of the teams around them all dropping points this weekend, Huddersfield were the only other club to win in the top six after they came from behind to beat Hartlepool 2-1.

Looks like the break did them good, looked a tricky game but we did it with ease.

If that was a better performance than the one I saw at Bristol Rovers then we must have been really good.

Listening to the game it never sounded like we were in any trouble and it was all too easy but as Arsenal found out yesterday you can still come unstuck if you dont put your chances away. Three really good goals as well. eddie said they didnt have a shot oin target as did the YEP but the official stats gave them one on target which for the home side is pretty good reading for us Leeds fans
