LUFC Higgs gets contract extension
Leeds United have rewarded goalkeeper Shane Higgs with a new contract after impressing since arriving in the summer.
Higgs who joined from Cheltenham Town, is now contracted to the club until 2011.
The 32 year old had made the number one jersey his own since the start of the season, before a thigh injury has seen him sidelined since the end of September.
He made a brief comeback appearance against Norwich City in mid October, unfortunately he aggravated the injury in the opening fifteen minutes.
Higgs is still injured at the moment although it`s reported that he`s making good progress.
