LUFC Grayson happy with players attitude

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was happy with his player`s attitude after beating Grimsby Town 3-1 in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy.

Speaking on SkySports after the game Grayson said "Overall I thought we applied ourselves well, worked well and the attitude was good and the work rate was good".

The win takes Leeds a step closer to Wembley and are now only two ties away from reaching the final.

Grayson once again showed his ambition in the competition and put out a very strong side against the struggling League Two side.

Leeds have already played twenty one games in all competitions this season, and are also still involved in the FA Cup.
Despite promotion from League One being the priority Grayson still wants his team to try and win every game, continuing he said "We try and win every game and if it means us playing sixty or seventy games a season and we are successful then so be it".

Most of the players can now enjoy the luxury of a weekend off this weekend with the League game at Swindon called off due to four Leeds players being called upon for international duty.
