LUFC Leeds v Norwich Preview

Leeds United entertain Norwich City on Monday night in front of the live Sky TV cameras.

Form

Leeds

This will be the Whites first league game in just over two weeks after last Saturday`s game at Bristol Rovers was postponed due to Leeds having three players on international duty.

Last time out, Leeds drew 0-0 with second placed Charlton Athletic at Elland Road.

Monday will be Leeds third home league game in a row, they have drawn the last two after winning the previous fifteen.

The last time they suffered a home league defeat was back in January when Carlisle won 2-0.

Leeds are still the only unbeaten side in the entire Football League.

Norwich

After a 7-1 home defeat on the opening day, and their first three games only yielding one point they have steadily climbed up the League One table under Paul Lambert.

They are unbeaten in their last five league games, winning their last three.

In their last game they came away from Carlisle United with a 1-0 victory.

So far on their travels in the league this season they have won two, drawn two and lost two.

Leeds need to be aware of Norwich City in the last minute of the game, they have scored six goals in the 90th minute so far this season, four of those have come in the last five league games.

History

The two clubs have met 23 times at Elland Road with the home side winning just over half of those games with 12 wins, Norwich have won 5 and 6 have been drawn.

The last time the two clubs met at Elland Road was on the opening day of the 2006/07 season when a solitary David Healy penalty secured all three points for Leeds.

Lets hope the breaks done us some good, I hope Higgs, Snodgrass and Crowe are back. It doesn't sound like Becchio will be fit, but maybe Graysons just telling us all he's not fit?
