LUFC Leeds v Norwich match officials

Kevin Friend will be the man in charge of the Leeds United v Norwich City game on Monday night in front of the live TV cameras.

The Leicestershire official will be taking charge of his 7th game of the season, in the previous 6 he`s already shown 25 yellow cards a one red.

He`s recently been promoted to the Premier League and refereed his first game at the top level when Wolves faced Fulham on the 20th September.

Last season he took charge of 46 games showing 124 yellow cards and 6 reds.

Friend took charge of two Leeds games last season. He was in charge of the 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Carling Cup in August and then the 2-0 defeat by Carlisle United in January, the last time Leeds lost a league game at Elland Road.

The last time he took charge of a Norwich game was also last season when they drew 1-1 with Burnley at Carrow Road.

Referee: K. Friend (Leicestershire)
Assistants: M. Matadar & T. Massey

Lets hope he remaind a 'FRIEND' and not what you called him Ben!

He might not take charge now, he was fourth official at Villa v Chelsea on Saturday and original referee Steve Bennett fell ill ten minutes before kick off so Friend is now refereeing.

He got promoted he must be doing some thing right...Lets hope he's a Friend to Leeds... Lets hope we dont get Bennett...lol

He wasn't to bad apart from missing a blatant penalty to Villa in the first ten minutes.
