LUFC Johnstone's Paint draw details

The draw for the Quarter finals of the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy will take place on Sky Sports Soccer am this Saturday morning.

There are only two League One sides remaining in the Northern Section, Leeds along with Carlisle United are the only two remaining after a night of shocks on Tuesday night in the second round.

The Whites have yet to draw a League One side since entering the competition for the first time in 2007, they have lost to Bury 1-0 in the 2007 and Rotherham 4-2 in 2008.

The teams remaining from the Northern section are; Bradford City, Bury, Carlisle United, Chesterfield, Grimsby, Leeds United, Port Vale and either Accrington Stanley or Shrewsbury Town whose second round clash was postponed on Tuesday night due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Quarter final ties will take place week commencing November 9th.

Its a good chance for Grayson to take a look at some of the reserve players and hope they shine and give him a nudge for a first team recall. Doesn't look like many of them gave him that nudge on Tuesday night. Even with our reserves we should be good enough to get through to the final. I fancy Bradford at home in the Quarters.
