LUFC Snoddy gets Scotland call
Leeds United influential midfielder Robert Snodgrass has earned his first call up to the full Scotland international squad.
The 21 year old who has become a key part of the Leeds midfield will be in the squad for his countries friendly in Japan on October 10th.
Scotland have missed out on qualification for the World Cup in South Africa next year after losing their final qualifier at home against Holland last month.
George Burley could be looking to rebuild his squad ready for the European 2012 qualifiers and an inform Snodgrass will hopefully be part of those plans.
Snodgrass becomes the latest in a high profile number of Leeds players who have represented Scotland during their time with the club.
Hopefully he will follow in the foot steps of a few of the legends at Elland Road like Billy Bremner, Eddie Gray and Peter who earned their first caps during their time at the club.
