LUFC - Leeds v Liverpool officials

Premiership referee Alan Wiley will be the man in charge when Leeds welcome Liverpool to Elland Road for a Third Round Carling Cup clash in front of the Sky TV cameras.

The Staffordshire official has refereed 6 games this season, showing, 22 yellow cards and 1 red. His last game was the Sheffield 'derby` on Friday night when he showed 7 yellow cards.

Last season he refereed 41 games, showing 127 yellow cards and 4 reds.

The last time he was in charge of a Leeds game was last season. Ironically that was also in front of the Sky TV cameras when Leeds beat Millwall 2-0 in a game that saw Jermaine Beckford receive a three match ban from the FA after Wiley missed his elbow on Millwall keeper David Forde.

He`s already taken charge of Liverpool this season, he refereed their 3-2 victory at Bolton at the end of August when he sent off Bolton`s Sean Davis rather harshly for two bookable ofences.

Referee: A.G Wiley (Staffordshire)
Assistants: A.M Garratt & G.T Stott
Fourth official: A.R Hall
