LUFC Fans view v Tranmere

Vital Leeds member Tiny T gives us his usual views and match ratings for the win over Tranmere.

Surely he was happy today?

Higgs 6
Good kicking game, and a couple of saves to keep a clean sheet, but little to do as Tranmere rarely threatened.

Crowe 7
Overlapped well and untroubled defensively.

Kisnorbo 8
Strong in the air and on the ground, great shot at goal that deserved better.

Marques 6
One or two mistakes, but not costly.

Hughes 6
Stuck to his task but is a square peg in a round hole.

Snodgrass 6
Better performance this week but still tries to do too much, wants to beat everyone and score more, intelligent use of the ball required

Howson 9 Star man
Set the high tempo tone of the Leeds side, with slick passing and pressurising the Tranmere players into mistakes, couple of near misses at goal as well.

Doyle 8
The partnership with Howson is blossoming, and if they play like this, we'll stay in the top 2.

Johnson 8
Another goal, confident and takes players on what a difference to last year. Keep it up Johnno.

Becchio 7
His usual game and got the third goal.

Beckford 8
Up for this, has he had a better 90 mins for Leeds? With a little more luck and better finishing he'd have scored SIX!
Post and bar stopped at least four certain goals. He also worked hard.

Subs

Not really on long enough but Grella should have scored late on.

A stunning win that could have hit double figures as Leeds were rampant, the best 90 mins I've seen for a long time. Skills, Passion were there from the first whistle to the last.

Keep this up and were certain of promotion

Thanks for your views Tiny, we must have been good I`ve never heard you so happy.

Thats some accolade, best ninety minutes for sometime. When was the last time you saw them play better at home? or can't you remember that far back?
dazza71
The most complete team performance I have seen for a long time. I agree with most of Tint T 's comments but few weak links today and once Snodgrass gets back into the groove it could be devastating for other teams. I agree with Star man but Johnson wasnt far behind and i thought Hughes had more trhan a a solid game and never gave their Right winger a sniff.
erni
a great win yesterday , keep it going lads .
Kimbo
Great start again lets keep it going. MOT

Grayson is doing a great job. Finally, the manager the club needs! Inspired performances, tighter at the back, dangerous whenever we have the ball and NO dodgy signings: well done Larry!!!
