History
The two clubs have only ever met three times in their history, all in cup competitions.
They have met in the League Cup before in 1996/97 when Darlington held Leeds to a 2-2 draw at Elland Road in the First Leg and had high hopes of a cup shock against their Premiership opposition.
Leeds made no mistake in the second leg at The Feethams winning 2-0.
They met as recently as 2007 in a Johnstone`s Paint Trophy clash which was also shown live on Sky, Paul Huntington scored the only goal of the game to give Leeds a 1-0 victory.
