Leeds got off the mark on the opening day of the season but left it until the 88th minute to take all three points.
Once again it was that man Jermaine Beckford who scored both goals in the 2-1 victory.
The Whites dominated the first half and Beckford on another day could have been walking off at half time with the ball tucked under his arm after having a hatful of chances.
When Exeter had Barry Corr sent off around the hour, Leeds fans thought it was game over but Alex Russell brought the Grecians back level with a wonderfully taken free kick.
Leeds fans are accustomed to the team never doing anything easy were probably thinking 'here we go again!` but with time running out Beckford rose to head Leeds winner.
Simon Grayson isn`t so worried though, speaking on the official website he said "Its all about the result. If we play poorly every week and win, I`ll take it, but there will be times when we play well and don`t get what we deserve".
I can agree to a certain degree, I think another 45 games with a last minute winner though could have the hospital`s around the Leeds area seeing a few more cardiac arrest patients.
