LUFC Leeds v Exeter Team News

Team news ahead of this Saturday`s opening League fixture against Exeter City at Elland Road.

Leeds
Definitley missing for Leeds is captain Richard Naylor who is still recovering from the back operation he had earlier this summer.

The Whites could hand debuts to Jason Crowe, Patrick Kisnorbo, Mike Doyle and Shane Higgs.

Boss Simon Grayson will have to decide who his number one is between Casper Ankergren and Shane Higgs.

Midfielder Neil Kilkenny has yet to feature in pre season and could miss out has he`s still struggling with his ankle injury.

Exeter
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is likely to hand debuts to Scott Golbourne, chard Duffy, Joe Burnell and James Dunne.

The Grecians have a doubt over Richard Logan (Calf).

Adam Stansfield is definitely out after suffering an ankle ligament injury in pre season.

The main two positions I will be lloking at tomorrow when the team is announced is in goal (got to be Higgs) and central defence (got to be Kisnorbo and Marques) If its Ankergren and Michalik get ready for chewing down to your knuckles again!

I reckon we will see all 4 new boys in the team. Higgs, Kisnorbo and Crowe have played pre season and Doyle has had a pre season with Coventry so all should be fit. I would like a 2-0 win with Beckfod having a **** game so anybody watching him will wonder what all the fuss is about and leave him alone.

good shout erni....hopefully doyle starts,he`s a good player and im lookin forward to seein him with a big club...think we hav this 1 in the bag, only thing that will get in the way could be match fitness.....best of luck SLUFC,
