LUFC - New highlights show announced
BBC Sport have announced their planned format for the new Football League season.
BBC will now show the Championship as well as League One and League Two highlights taking over from the highlights show on ITV on a Sunday morning.
The highlights programme which will be called 'The Football League show` will first be shown on Saturday 8th August at 11.10pm.
The programme is planned to follow Match of the Day on a Saturday evening.
BBC will also show ten live Championship games throughout the season as well as Carling Cup highlights and the end of season Play Offs.
Sky Sports will still continue to show live League football with 80 live matches planned for the 2009/10 season.
Leeds United have already been chosen for two live games on Sky, the Carling Cup first round tie at Darlington on August 10th and the League One clash against Norwich City at Elland Road on October 19th.

I think its a good move, well for me anyway, because Sunday mornings never suited! Its when I sleep in...lol

They are very good, they are going' to show two Leeds' games,
thanks for nothing,...Probably a little better' then ITV, you can never depend on them...Big ears and the gang' I wonder will Alen S, be joining them...lol
