LUFC Busy week of transfer activity to come

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates says boss Simon Grayson still has positions to fill in his squad before the season starts.

With the first game of the season now only 15 days away Bates expects a lot of action in the next week on the transfer front.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Bates said "I think we`ll start to see things buzzing next week with more movement. There are areas that Simon is keen to strengthen."

The Whites have so far brought in three players, defenders Jason Crowe and Patrick Kisnorbo and goalkeeper Shane Higgs.

All Leeds fans will be waiting with much anticipation on the developments in the weeks before the season.

Lets hope so, the squad is coming together nicley, The main consensus is on here that we want a hard tackling midfielder

Let's hope Bates is actually telling the truth in that he wants Grayson to make signings...I think the fans seriously want to start seeing some sort of results for all the profits we are supposed to have made, all the high ticket prices etc. Let's hope there is something to make us all feel better be it another signing that we have heard of or else even just buying Thorpe Arch!

Lets hope all aspects are true and we see some of the non performers shipped out as well. I hear Celtic are after Michalik. (Thats Farsley Celtic not Glasgow Celtic.) On a more serious note I hear a CCC club is after Johnson in a swap deal so that should be interesting.
