LUFC Kisnorbo - Leeds appealed to me more

New signing Patrick Kisnorbo turned down offers from a number of Championship clubs preferring to join League One Leeds United because of the appeal of the club.

Kisnorbo has signed from Leicester City on a two year deal and speaking on the official website said "There were other clubs interested, but I saw more in this club than in the others"

The 28 year old has struggled with injuries over the past few seasons but brings to United a wealth of experience from his time at Hearts in the Scottish Premier League, Leicester City in the Championship and he`s also represented Australia at international level.

Kisnorbo is out to prove a point to Leicester City this season after making only ten appearances for the Foxes last season and is hoping to be part of a successful Leeds squad that can win promotion to the Championship.

Great to hear, sounds like Grayson and his team are selling the club well to players. Feel much more confident than I was even before with this signing.

I would be happy now with the squad we have if the season were to start tomorrow! Fair play to Grayson for keeping us all content so far this summer and I hope Kisnorbo's time here is a succesful one!

Nice one Larry. Patrick K obviously liked what he saw from the dugout when we lost due to a lack of concentration in the final seconds of the game at Leicester. Plus the fact (of course) that we are Leeds. Welcome on board Mr Kisnorbo-may you have a long and fruitful career at ER. Well, at least two years anyway!

Injury prone, but a fine defender... shades of Sodje! What's telling to me is that he has turned down Championship teams (and presumably higher wages) to play for us. I like that attitude. Exactly what we need. Let's hope like Sodje, he sticks his head and foot wherever it's needed!

This guy is certanly no Free Transfer reject and we must have offered competetive wages or he would not have come. I guess paying higher wages to quality Frees is better than paying for players on the cheap. Ths is a good move.
