LUFC Beckford double in Leeds draw

Jermaine Beckford was back on the goal trial at Shelbourne but once again the side threw away a two goal lead.

Simon Grayson once again used the game to rotate his squad making wholesale changes once again at half time.

Jermaine Beckford scored both Leeds goals in the first half, on another day he could have quite easily have scored five or six!

Once again though Leeds threw away a two goal lead and within eleven minutes of the second half starting the game was all square.

Guy Bates got Shelbourne back into the game on 48 minutes with a header and David Crawley levelled from the spot after Andy Hughes was adjudged to have handled.

Leeds finished strongly but couldn`t find a winning goal.

Two draws out of two in Leeds first two pre season games, next they head to Northern Ireland to play Glentoran on Saturday.
