LUFC - Sodje still a possibility

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson hasn`t ruled out still trying to bring Sam Sodje to Elland Road.

The defender enjoyed a successful loan period at Leeds at the end of last season helping them make the play offs with his no nonsense defending.

Speaking in the YEP Simon Grayson said 'We've got to make sure we get the right ones for us. Sam did ever so well, as we reiterated during his time here."

The Nigerian international was released by Reading at the end of the season but still hasn`t made his mind up regarding who he would like to join for the forthcoming season.

Sodje is also rumoured to be drawing an interest from Championship side Bristol City.

The 30 year old formed a formidable partnership in the centre of defence with Richard Naylor during his two month`s with the club and soon became a firm fans favourite with the fans.

Would love to see him back alongside Naylor at the back. Good old fashioned no nonsense defender. We need a few more like him whose prepared to get stuck in.

I hope we sign him sensibly so that if he gets injured early in the season that we arnt just paying for him to get better for most of his time here...
