LUFC - Grayson delighted to have Huntington back

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is delighted to have defender Paul Huntington back in pre season training and is hoping the player can enjoy a good month, ahead of the new season.

Huntington who missed a large proportion of last season after suffering an injury early on in the season managed only six games in the whole of the 2008/09 season.

Speaking on the official website boss Grayson said "Hopefully he can go through a full pre season, playing games, and forcing his way into the first team".

With fellow defender Richard Naylor set to miss the start of the season, Huntington will hopefully be pushing for a starting place when Exeter City visit Elland Road on the opening day of the season.

Still only young and learning the game, he could learn a lot from Naylor when he's back fit and in the team.

I pray every night that Huntington will be fit as the thought of Lubo starting against Exeter gives me nightmares!

Being out for as long as he has it will take all of pre season for him to start to get back to the levels of the other players. I think he has big potential but he was way below his best in his performances last season. Lets hope he is going to come good as we dont want Lubo back. I was watching the Premiership Years yesterday for 2006 and Lubo was playing for Bolton and he looked a different player. Whats happened to him.

This is truly great news. The boy has real potential-let`s hope he fulfills it. Welcome back mate...

Lets have him back in the side could turn out to be the difference this year

Defence could be a big improvment this season.
