'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Leeds sign rated keeper from Cheltenham

Simon Grayson has made his second official signing of the summer as former Cheltenham keeper Shane Higgs joins the club.

Higgs who spent the end of last season on loan at Wolves was highly rated by Mick McCarthey and overall he has made 275 appearances for the Robins during his 10 years at the club.

Grayson said on the official website 'He's desperate to make an impression and has the hunger and the desire to succeed at this football club'

'He's another player who we've signed - and are looking to sign - who has the experience of this division and the know how to help us achieve our goal of promotion.'

Leeds fans will continue to hope that this is one of a few signings yet to come this summer.

I have been going on about this keeper for a couple of seasons. seen him about ten times in recent seasons and he's always been man of the match for Cheltenham. Great signing by Grayson, now keep them coming
