LUFC -Beckford will report for pre season

Jermaine Beckford will return to Leeds for pre season training next week although he`s been placed on the transfer list.

Beckford turned down the offer of a new contract at the end of last season and was promptly placed on the transfer list by the club.

Rumours have been rife with a number of clubs reportedly interested in the 34 goal leading goalscorer from last season.

Beckford`s agent Nick Rubery spoke in the Yorkshire Evening Post and said 'We're almost at the end of June and there hasn't been a bid for Jermaine as far as I'm aware.
'He'll be getting himself ready to start training with Leeds again next week".

The 25 year old has one year left on his contract and Rubery says that Beckford will be fully committed to Leeds if he was to stay and see out the remainder of his contract.
