LUFC Bates - It's going to be a busy summer

LUFC Bates - It's going to be a busy summer

Leeds chairman Ken Bates has predicted a lot of activity on the transfer front at Elland Road this summer.

The club have already released Jonathan Douglas and David Lucas and they slapped Jermaine Beckford on the transfer list on Tuesday after he refused to sign a new three year contract.

This summer gives Leeds boos Simon Grayson his first real chance to bring in the players he wants to help the club rise from League One at the end of next season.

Speaking on the official website Bates said "There are lots of discussions going on, with all sorts of players both in and out".

Lots of Leeds fans were disappointed with the news about Jermaine Beckford but Bates assures the fans that the club will be heavily involved in the transfer market over the summer.
