LUFC - Kilkenny waits to find out extent of injury
Neil Kilkenny is still waiting to hear the extent of his ankle injury that he suffered in last weeks play off game with Millwall.
Kilkenny took the ball on the end of the foot after charging out to block a shot. After initially trying to play on with the injury he was soon forced to leave the pitch.
The Aussie midfielder who became an integral part of the Leeds team in the second half of the season left the ground on crutches on Thursday night.
Speaking on the official website Kilkenny said "I`m having an x-ray to find out whether it`s a break, fracture or a twist".
Kilkenny who almost left the club to join Brighton in the January transfer window is hoping that the injury will not keep him out to long and he`ll be able to start pre season training with the rest of the squad in July.
