LUFC Grayson- We'll be ready for new season

Simon Grayson had his final Leeds team meeting today (Monday) and promised that they will be back fitter and stronger after the disappointment of missing out on promotion this season.

Grayson`s side went on a fantastic run in the second half of the season after his appointment in December but missed out on a Play off final date after going out to Millwall in the semi final.

The team have now gone on the summer break and Grayson wants the players to come back refreshed and ready for pre season training in July.

Grayson speaking on the official site said "I want us to be the fittest and strongest side in the league, and that will be the case".

The team won nine of their last eleven games of the normal season under Grayson and he will want the side to start off in a similar vain as they aim to get out of League One at the third attempt.

We need to start strongly next season, I am more confident with Grayson than I ever was with McAllister.

It`ll be another rollercoaster season next season, we are Leeds and we always make things difficult lol

This season other than Leicester it didnt look too tricky. Next year we have Norwich (impressive 18000 season tickets sold), Charlton and Southampton to contend with plus the newly rich MKD

Charlton and Southampton (minus 10 points) are reportedly in financial difficulties so they may have to sell their best players. Leicester were fortunate (and wise) enough to hold on their best players from the previous season in the CCC and it showed. With Grayson in charge for the full season for the first time it is no foolish claim to be confident we will finish higher than 4th next season.

Until you get rid of Bates, you are going no where.
