LUFC - Two stay and six leave from youth side
Leeds have offered extended contracts of six months to two Leeds youth players but they have released six at the same time.
Jonathan Webb who made one substitute appearance in the FA Cup at Northampton and Josh Falkingham are the two who have been offered extended contracts to see if the can impress during pre season.
Being released are Chris Ovington, Nathan Cartman, Matt Edwards, Ross Wilkinson, Lee Booth and Sam Jerome.

It seems a strange contract to offer them, surely they should have been given a year to give them a proper chance when stepping up.
Always said to see any young footballer released from any club, I wish them all well for the future

I am sad to see Ovington go as he looks a prospect. Three months ago he was a regular in the reserves and scoring goals. Wonder what happened.
