Snodgrass takes Vital Leeds Player of the season

Robert Snodgrass has won the inaugural Vital Leeds United player of the season.

Snodgrass has been in fantastic form since getting a regular starting place in the side in November.

The 21 year old earned over double the points of his closest rival.

The front men Jermaine Beckford and Luciano Becchio were second and third.

Sam Sodje finished a creditable sixth even though he made only a handful of appearances after joining the club on loan from Reading in March.

Thoroughly deserved for his performances from November onwards, ultra consistent and chipped in with a few goals. A steel for what we paid for him and he's still only 21.

Though not at his best against Millwall in the Playoffs (that goes for Becks and a few others also) Snoddy`s award is thoroughly deserved...
Rotherham White
Becchio was the better player over the whole season and would be the bigger loss.

I hope we dont lose either of them
