LUFC - Fans rating v Millwall

Vital Leeds member Tiny T gives us his last match ratings of the season.

Ankergren 7

Had to do little, stood no chance with the goal.

Parker 7 Star man

Solid defensively and got forward well especially to set up Becchio's goal. Only real quality cross all night from anyone came from him.

Sodje 7

Another sterling stint in the Centre of defence, rarely troubled.

Naylor 7

As with his partner did little wrong.

Douglas 7

Solid in defence and had time to get forward to support the attack.

Delph 7

Played better once Kilkenny went off as he moved to a more central role, grafted for the cause but unable to supply the killer ball into the danger zone.

Kilkenny 6

Carrying an injury and it showed, had to be subbed after a strong challenge.

Howson 7

As with Delph toiled manfully but lacked the killer instinct in the final third of the pitch.

Snodgrass 5

Tried but his final ball was poor, dead ball delivery rarely passed the first defender. At fault for the goal did not get in to support Douglas.

Beckford 4

Few chances in a tight game, weak penalty gave the Keeper an easy save, little in the way of quality to feed off though.

Becchio 7

Another solid display and a goal that gave us hope.

Subs
Robinson 6
Gave us width at times but lack if quality in his delivery into the danger area.

Johnson 6
Rasping shot just went wide.

Grella
Not on long enough

CROWD 10
Says it all.

A game that was there to be won but we came up short. Lack of quality to the strikers the main problem in a game we controlled but in my view never looked convinced we could get the required goals especially after the Penalty miss.

It will be interesting to see the ins and outs this summer as I expect quite a few in both directions.

I will do a fans player review shortly for the whole season and give my opinion on who goes/stays.

Finally I would like to wish Millwall all the best for the Final.

Thanks for your views all season Tiny

Parkers run for the goal was fantastic, he went from one end to the other.
King Billy
Time to get rid of a few of the squad players and bring in some better quality to back up the starting eleven. Ankergren has to be replaced, all over the place for their goal.

We need to get a new right back. Douglas has done well but he is better in the middle of the park.

Who does he replace ??????
