LUFC - Leeds ready for penalties

Simon Grayson has revealed that Leeds have been practising penalties ahead of the play off clash with Millwall.

They are going to practice them again in training today (Wednesday) and he`s revealed that the five penalty takers have already been chosen should spot kicks be required.

Grayson asked the squad who would like to take a penalty if needed and was pleasantly surprised by the amount who were willing to step up so if any of the top five are no longer on the pitch he will have no shortage of volunteers.

With away goals not counting in the play offs a Leeds victory by one goal would mean the tie being settled by the dreaded penalty shoot out.

Its ok practising on the training pitch, its doing it in front of 37,000 fans with the pressure when it matters.

Spot on Dazza. I don't buy the 'it's a lottery' excuse that always come up when England fail at penalties. It's down to mental state and preparation. He who dares wins, Rodney!

now that would add to the suspense!

Shame you couldn't actually net the penalty that mattered. Ah well, wins number 4 and 5 in a row coming up next year.
Impact
