LUFC - Grayson looking for response

Simon Grayson was happy that Leeds are still in with a fighting chance in the return leg at Elland Road after a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Millwall on Saturday.

Grayson was most disappointed with Leeds attacking play at the Den and feels that Leeds have the players who are capable to do it in the return leg.

With Millwall throwing everything at Leeds which is only to be expected in their home leg Leeds defence stood firm apart from one error by usually reliable defender Richard Naylor which proved costly.

Grayson was quick to praise the defence, speaking on Sky after the game he said ``I thought it was a good performance without possession of the ball, we worked had, looked organised and were difficult to break down.'

Grayson is hoping that a full house at Elland Road on Thursday night will act as a twelth man as they aim to turn the tie around.

The way I look at it is we can only play better as an attacking force on Thursday. I am sure we will come through on Thursday.

I agree Dazza.I know Leeds can play alot better & hopefully they will notch it up a couple of gears which Leeds can, I feel Millwall played to their potenstial & will do nothing different other than to try & stop us playing our game & get in our faces. MOT. LEEDS faithful, lets show them what real fans are.

Early goal and you'll sneak it Leeds - if not I think you will get frustrated and lose it. Good luck to both sides - hope its a good game for us neutrals to watch.

Leeds expects Larry, get them sorted !!!!

Apparently Sodje dislocated his shoulder and popped it back into place himself... that's the spirit we need! Now get the ball down and play... losing to cynical cloggers like Millwall would be unthinkable.
