LUFC- Leeds almost certain to finish 4th or 5th

LUFC- Leeds almost certain to finish 4th or 5th

Leeds United will finish either fourth or fifth in the table unless they can make up a difference of ten goals on the final day of the season after MK Dons won at Northampton Town on Tuesday night.

Millwall can still overall MK Dons if they win their last game at Carlisle whilst MK Dons must lose at Hereford United away. Leeds only hope of finishing third is if Millwall fail to win, MK Dons lose and they can somehow make up the ten goal difference which is highly unlikely.

So it looks almost certain that Leeds Play off dates will be;

First Leg: Saturday May 9th
5th v 4th 12.45pm kick off

Second Leg: Friday May 15th
4th v 5th 7.45pm kick off

Both games will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The final Play Off spot is still between Scunthorpe United and Tranmere Rovers who meet at Glanford Park on Saturday.
Scunthorpe now has the advantage after a 3-0 home win over Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night means a draw against Tranmere will be enough for them to take sixth spot.
