LUFC - Grayson wants to continue momentum

Simon Grayson was delighted to find out that Leeds Play Off place was confirmed after Scunthorpe United could only draw on Tuesday night.

Grayson however is determined to keep playing a strong side in the final two games of the season, he wants the current momentum that Leeds are enjoying continuing into the play offs.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said "It`s important we keep the momentum going and prepare ourselves right for what we hope will be three games in the Play Offs".

Leeds last two games of the season are away at Hartlepool United on Saturday before playing Northampton Town at home the following Saturday May 2nd.

Leeds first game in the play offs will be either Friday May 8th or Saturday May 9th depending on their final League position.

I can understand his thinking but at the same time why risk injury and suspensions with some key players.

We need to push for 4th place to guarantee a home 2nd leg in the playoffs... much better than having to travel to the New Den needing a result...
