LUFC - Kilkenny makes team of the week

Neil Kilkenny made this weeks League One team of the week for his performance against Tranmere Rovers at the weekend.

The Aussie midfielder scored Leeds second goal in their crucial win over Tranmere a result that almost guarantees them a place in the Play Offs.

Kilkenny has been rejuvenated since breaking back into the squad just over a month ago and enjoying his more central role.

The team of the week is chosen by the Press Association who chooses the top eleven performing players for their positions.

He was almost out the door in January. I actually like him now he's playing more central although he's still struggling to win a few over. He tackles back well and seems to be the starting point picking the ball up from the back.
