Stone Back In Training

Recovering from injury is one thing, but getting match fit after missing an entire season is another matter.

However, former England international Steve Stone is finally back in training and could feature in the end of season play-offs.

Stone had major injury problems with Portsmouth, and when he picked up his Achilles problem in pre-season I think many wondered why he had been given a year's contract rather than week-to-week.

Blackwell: 'Steve has started running again, but I'm putting him under no pressure at all. He hasn't played football for almost a year so it would be wrong of me to expect anything from him but I've never written him out and if there's a chance there's a chance.'
