LUFC - Beckford pipped to award

Jermaine Beckford has been named second in the Powerade League One Player of the Month for March.

Beckford scored six goals in five games during the month helping Leeds into fifth place in the table.

Beckford was beaten by Swindon Town striker Simon Cox for the overall award.

Ex Leeds striker Robbie Blake took the Championship award.

Kamara doesnt seem to give us a good press at the moment and I am glad he didnt win it. He can now go and win it in April and make Larry MOM for April.
