One man team?

One man team?

Are Leeds United a one man team?

This is the criticism that has been aimed at us regarding Jermaine Beckford. Now if goals were the only thing that made up a team then maybe we are but let`s look more closely.

Most teams would welcome an ever present who has scored 12 goals,
always puts in 100%, is hard working, works as provider, holds the
ball up as well as scoring.
We have one of those his name is Becchio.

Most teams would also like a young workhorse who can spray the ball around the pitch to perfection, get stuck in when needed and also chip in with a few
goals, perhaps a player worth between 6 and 10 million.
We have one of those too in Delph.

Most teams would like to have an older head that can steady things a bit in midfield, an under-stated type player who works his socks off and rarely gets a mention a player who also can play out of position to help the defence.
We have one of those, Douglas.

Most teams would kill for a set of up and coming youngsters raring to go and show their promise.
We have those White, Parker and Howson.

Most teams would like an attacking midfielder who can score spectacular goals, a player like Robinson maybe?

Most teams would also like to have a player who is fast becoming a fans favourite putting in exciting attacking performances and chipping in with the odd goal too, a player like Snodgrass.

Most teams would love a steady defence and solid keeper.......okay I`ll give you that one, so would we!!

All in all though it`s a team game and each player plays his part, Beckford gets paid to score goals and he does that....that
doesn`t make us a one man team though.

One man team?

Not in my opinion, you make up your own mind.
