LUFC - Premiership keeper turns down Leeds
New Cardiff City loan signing, goalkeeper Stuart Taylor says he was close to Joining Leeds United in midweek.
Taylor who is only third choice at Aston Villa was told by Villa manager Martin O`Neill on Thursday that Cardiff City had also shown an interest in the signing the keeper, Leeds were all set to sign the former Premiership winning goalkeeper with Arsenal in 2001-02 earlier in the week with the shot stopper keen to get first team football.
The chance of Championship football was too much for Taylor to turn down though and that was his major deciding factor in joining the Bluebirds.
