LUFC - Leeds aim to equal record

Leeds will be hoping to equal the club record seven straight home league wins this weekend when they face Swindon Town.

The club have already won six in a row at home this season but two of those were in cup competitions.

The last time they won seven in a row was in 1999/00 under David O`Leary when the club finished third in the Premiership.

What makes the current run more special is the fact they have beaten three of their main rivals Peterborough, Millwall and Scunthorpe out of the six games.

With MK Dons who are currently third due to come to Elland Road after the Swindon game Leeds will be hoping they can break the record has they continue their push for promotion.

Speaking on the official website boss Simon Grayson said "We want to equal the record and then go on and break the record"

Since the arrival of Simon Grayson to the club Leeds have won six, drawn one and lost one at home has they aim to make Elland Road a fortress once again.
