LUFC - Trundle leaves

Lee Trundle has returned to parent club Bristol City after Leeds decided not to extend his loan into a third month.

Trundle started well for Leeds and scored in his first full game the 2-0 victory at Brighton.

Since then though he put in some lacklustre performances including missing a penalty at Hereford which saw him dropped to the bench for the last five games of his loan.

Leeds may now bring in Derby County striker Liam Dickinson after he recovered from the injury that stopped him joining Leeds last month.

He was very disappointing, thought he would be a great signing, he showed he wasn't fit enough, I bet United Fisheries and McDonalds takings will be down now he's left!!

I agree he was very disappointing! From the videos of him playing I thought he was going to be a brilliant addition to the squad. He didn't play anywhere near as well as he did.
