LUFC -Lucas cancels trip after sad news

Lucas Radebe who was due to be guest of honour at Elland Road this weekend has had to cancel due to the death of his father Johannes at the weekend.

Johannes 72, past away after a long battle with prostate cancer, this follows just five months after the death of Lucas`s wife Feziwe also to cancer.

The former Whites hero was to be guest of honour at the Swindon game at Elland Road on Saturday, the club had also arranged a special charity dinner on Friday night for the fight against cancer.

The event is likely now to happen later in the season.

I am sure I speak for everyone at Vital Leeds when I send Lucas and his family our deepest condolences and look forward to the day he does return to Elland Road.
