LUFC - Grayson - We must remain unbeaten!
After Leeds dropped more points on the road against Bristol Rovers, Simon Grayson has challenged his team to go unbeaten for the rest of the season.
Leeds looked like they was going to take all three points but a last minute goal by Rovers substitute Joe Kuffour left them frustrated with just a point and outside the play offs once again.
The problems that have dogged Leeds all season still continue to persist, they have only kept one clean sheet in the last six and have won only three of their previous fourteen league games, hardly the form of a side that are chasing promotion!
Thankfully Leeds home form has kept them in the hunt for the play offs but with games running out their form seriously needs to pick up on the road if they are to make the play off stages.
Leeds next away game is at in form Crewe Alexandra and they still have to travel to league leaders Leicester City before the end of the season.
Grayson knows they can afford no more slip ups, speaking on ITV`s website he said: 'We`ve said that we need to go on a run now until the end of the season unbeaten and that will get us into the play-offs.
Leeds now have two home games against lowly Yeovil Town and Swindon Town, two games they cannot afford to drop points in if they are to get back into the play offs.

Eleven games to go, I think we need to win a minimum of six wins to have any chance of the play offs. Remaining unbeaten is ok but we can't afford many draws. It showed today how tight it is if you drop silly points in the last minute.

Its not unbeaten we need its WINS...11 draws would not see us make the pay offs....Larry has to accept his defence is severley lacking

Another let down i left the rovers ground yesterday feeling like we had lost,Draws at this part of the season are no good its to tight in the league to keep losing points the way we are at the moment, should off beat oldham and with no dought should off taken 3 points here, Again to many air heads in the defence switched off again a simple punt up the park and they score,what i saw was not just unlucky it was poor defending once again how long is Grayson going to keep faith in the defence we have got, I say bring in some Defenders before its to late, the squad we have at the moment are not consistant enough to go on a unbeaten run sorry but sick off hearing Grayson week after week saying about the positives but why not act on the negatives which has cost us all season the cr*p Defence, Naylor is different class but thats all i can say.....MOT

I have Heard Dickinson is going on loan to Blackpool now and has turned us down, Kazza I know we all have been saying it but probably like you i travel up and down to all the leeds games and am starting to think why bother and that is the thought off alot of the travelling fans i spoke to yesterday, Dont know what Graysons see's in the defence apart fromNaylor who is top class for us the rest are a joke, Cant see himbringing in anymore defenders between now and the window closing.. Very concerned Leeds Fan Mot

It's not just getting to the championship it's staying there too. Some of our players are good enough and strong enough but we need the whole team to be. Our defence is far from good enough. We needed to buying players in but that never happened. Our team still needs alot of sorting. Hopefully the lads can sort it!
