LUFC - Bristol Rovers v Leeds team news

Leeds travel to Bristol Rovers on Saturday with their squad once again feeling the pressures of injuries and suspensions.

Frazer Richardson and Andy Hughes who have both filled the right back spot since Christmas are still injured although Hughes is very close to a return, it`s likely that Jonathan Douglas will once again fill in at right back.

Andy Robinson is still out with the hamstring injury he suffered in last weekend`s win against Scunthorpe.

Neil Kilkenny is still struggling with a back injury although he played through the pain barrier on Monday night.

Bradley Johnson serves a one match suspension for his booking against Scunthorpe, good news is that Jon Howson returns after his one match ban.

Bristol Rovers team news;

Rovers are expected to stick to the same line up that played at Carlisle last Saturday.
Steve Elliott and Richie Lambert have been struggling with injury all week but with Rovers game against Brighton being called off in midweek it`s given them extra time to recover.

Definitely out is long term injured Danny Coles who looks likely to miss the rest of the season.

Looks like the same team as at olham with Howson in and Johnson out which on current form looks a plus. The midfield without Dougie looks a bit lightweight against what is a big side in Bristol so lets hope we can get our noses in front early or we may get bullied a bit.

The midfielders seem to be all over the place at the moment with Douglas playing in defence and all the injuries and suspensions.

I dont understand is why we struggle at the back with players being injured etc... Why are we not bringing any players in to cover this problem,We have now got into the top six and this is not the time to start playing players out of position and only having limited options open to you, we need to be strong in all departments with only 12 games left we cant afford to start losing games again it;s all to tight up there, if you lose 1 game you can be back in 8th position again, So im a bit worried about why we have no players coming in to make us even stronger for this final push does anyone agree or am i missing the point?????
