Are you mad?

Vital Leeds members tells us the joys of supporting Leeds even when he lives on the rainy side of the Pennines!!

Having moved to the wrong side of the Pennines a number of years
ago, the reaction I get when I mention who I support is usually `Leeds
United, are you mad?`
Lets look at the facts....we have the knack of selling our best players, Cantona comes to mind.
Not only selling but selling to our worst enemy Man Utd.

Not since the days of Bremner have we threatened to consistently win trophies. We have season after season suffered the humiliation of relegation. We change managers more often than we do our kit!

We don`t even own our own ground. Our chairman is a bit of
a shady type who charges as much for a season ticket than most Premier
clubs. Our fans turn out in blizzards and take off their shirts at half
time so they can swing them above their heads. We have been deducted 10
and then 15 points in successive seasons for going in and coming out of
administration. And yet we still believe the good times are a stones throw
away.

Are we mad......well the evidence says yes we are....but i wouldn`t
have it any other way!
