'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC -Oldham v Leeds match officials

Mr Russell Booth will be the man in charge of Monday`s crucial League One clash between Oldham Athletic and Leeds United at Boundary Park.

Mr Booth so far this season has refereed 12 games; in those 12 games that he`s refereed he`s shown 25 yellow cards and 2 reds.

Last season he refereed 13 games showing 25 yellow cards and 0 reds.

He`s got a decent record for keeping his cards in his pocket and trying to let the game flow.

The last time he was in charge of an Oldham Athletic game was in the 2006/07 season when they won 1-0 at home against Crewe Alexandra

It will be the first time he`s taken charge of a Leeds United game; he`s quickly rising through the league`s having risen from the Blue Square Premiership to the Championship since 2004.

Referee: Mr R. Booth (Nottinghamshire)
Assistants: D.A McCallum & M.A Sutton
Fourth official: C. Boyeson

I just fancied a change plus it gets all you perverts attention!! lol I have heard good reports on Booth, I listened to Donny's game friday night, which he was in charge of and the commentators were saying he lets the game go. I think you can see that from the amount of cards he shows.

Hopefully he doesnt try and take too much control of the game just because it is in front of the sky cameras..

Lets hope we arnt the exceptions to his leniency. We seem to have got the rough end of the deals this year. The guy on Saturday was abysmal and never pulled their big forward (33) for constantly pushing. He was as clueless as Showumni so no wonder he has only scored 1 in 33
