As Leeds face a tough weekend ahead against Scunthorpe and Oldham while United, Chelsea and Arsenal face clashes against Inter
Milan, Juventus and Roma respectively what would happen if we looked back
in history, something Leeds fans seem to be doing often nowadays.
In the history of the new Champions League, the 'Big 4' have mostly represented England with a few exceptions such as Leeds and Blackburn but against Italian teams, only one club have an undefeated record.
Man United have lost to Juventus, Fiorentina, Roma and AC Milan
Chelsea have fallen against Roma
Arsenal have lost against Fiorentina, Juventus and Inter Milan
Liverpool lost to AC Milan
Leeds United on the other hand Drew one and won one against Lazio and beat and drew against AC Milan in that same season as well!
I know for outsiders looking in then that seems a long way away but it is
still fresh in the minds of all Leeds fans and that fact that Leeds fans
should enjoy hearing in these dark times...

well, in my eyes, the uefa cup is FAR better than the champions league. and the team we drew with was the same one you drew with... and it had kaka, ronaldinho, and the like in... AND the title says "champions of the italians"...

now now... let's not get all touchy about it :-). The UEFA cup is better than the champions league... why else would AC Milan, and Man City - clearly the two best teams in the world - be playing in it?
