'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC- Dickinson will eventually join Leeds!

Simon Grayson says that Liam Dickinson will join Leeds United but not until he`s fully fit.

Dickinson was due to sign for the rest of the season on the 21st February but the deal was pulled due to him suffering a injury at his parent club Derby County.

Speaking in the YEP Grayson said 'It's essential that he's fully fit before he comes here because we don't want him coming in and breaking down or spending a few weeks out."

Leeds welcome back Jermaine Beckford on Saturday after his three match ban but the rest of the strikers are currently not firing on all cylinders, Lucciano Becchio hasn`t scored for Leeds since December 28th and loan signing Lee Trundle has only scored one goal during his loan spell.

Grayson cannot wait for Dickinson to sign having already had him on loan when he was at Blackpool earlier in the season, continuing he said
It's a bit frustrating but we still expect it to happen at some stage and we've got good strikers in the squad already. I've got to be patient with that one.'

Once we have him I dont mind.....A Beckford and Dickinson partnership up front sounds like a very good one!

I can't wait for him to join although I think Beckford and Becchio are a great partnership and Becchio will be amongst the goals now his old partner is back.

Just hope its not another deal where we stall a strikers career.....players tend to stop scoring once they come here!!

It's great having all these strikers but like dazza has said we will be having Beckford and Becchio upfront again. Plus we already have Grella who has been waiting and waiting to have his shot. We get all these players and then let them sit there and watch the match. If we're signing them then we should at least be letting them play and not just putting them in the reserve team.

Great results for us last night without any of our strike force being involved! Defeats for Oldham, Scunthorpe and Stockport.... but only if we capitalise over the next 2 games. At least four points against Oldham and Scunthorpe and I'll believe again. Until then, we are still way too inconsistent...
