LUFC - Grayson far from happy with performance!

Leeds boss Simon Grayson finally stopped trying to play Mr nice guy after Leeds latest dismal away performance.

Since Grayson`s arrival at the club he`s usually tried to make excuses and concentrated on the few positives of our performance but after Tuesday evening`s passionless performance he told a few home truths to the team.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said "The players should be hurting, it was poor"

Leeds had a great chance to take the lead but squandered the opportunity when Lee Trundle`s spot kick was saved, within minutes they were trailing 1-0!

For far too long they have been getting it far too easy they are not pulling on the Leeds United shirt and playing with the passion that the fans deserve, Continuing Grayson said "I`m not criticising individuals or players - we have had words and hopefully they will use that as inspiration. If not one or two might not play for the club again"

Leeds have now slipped to eight in the table but luckily still only stand four points outside the play off positions.

Next up are two home clashes, first up is Cheltenham Town before a game against play off rivals Scunthorpe United.

Leeds home form seems to have returned to the form they showed earlier in the season, it`s their away form that still mystifies Leeds fans with them only winning three and losing eight of their last eleven. With seven away games still to play this season including games at Oldham Athletic and Leicester City, Leeds need to win at least four of the seven games if they are to have any chance of the play offs.

Its taken far too long for someone to say something to these overpaid prima donna's!! They should be docked wages unless their performances improve especially away from home. If I went to work and only gave 50% I would get the sack!!
What else would Grayson have said.....An obvious response to the dilemma....He needs to act and to show why he deserves to be the Leeds United manager and why we shouldnt have picked anyone else for the job...
We are back to where we started the same team that mcallister left behind the only change is Naylor who is a good signing, Think Trundle has brought nothing different to leeds and we still have a problem there its only Beckford who is scoring for us, The midfield are weak and look clueless to many times this season, And the defence still cant defend as a unit, Time to stop hiding behind the few posatives Grayson and start getting rid off the lazy players who just want the wage, And Bates better start backing this club in bringing in players who will make a difference and put them on a full time contract loan signings are to me a temporary sollution and thats 1 gone back already and trundle i would send back now he has done Cr*p, Im a paying leeds fan who travels everywhere following the club just like everybody else and feel we all deserve better if you play like that again against Hereford i will not bother wasting my time again watching such poor football if i want to see that standard i will go and watch that on a saturday over the local park. GET IT SORTED IM SICK OFF HEARING EXCUSES..........
Perhaps we need to bite the bullet and pay up the contracts of some of the time-wasters to send out a message that unless you give 100%, you'll be out the door! OK, so it's a payout with no returns, but it would make everyone sit up and take notice. The overpaid prima donnas (most of whom are being paid to play 5-a-side every day) need to realise we are in a recession!
If we paid off some of the slackers they would say thank you and find an easy life at a smaller club subsidised with our hard earned money. We have been guilty of poor recruitment trying to save money....all we have done is waste it. Without Douglas the midfield is hopelessly lightweight and I would give Johnson an extended run to add some strength in the middle. We only have one in form defender now that Dickenson has gone and thats Naylor. The rest are just making up numbers. Without beckford we have no strile force...I really like Becchio early season but he seems to have lost a lot of control and penetration without beckfod. At least the effort is still there. We are drifting to oblivion.
As the advert says..............."I'm loving it!!!!"
Quote!!! Hard luck on us, but the 3 games are all winnable without him Tiny T Tiny T 2 down 1 to go, doesn't look good?

At this moment I will settle for 1 out of 3 as i am not confident
at this rate we have to settle for 1 out of 3!...we've already lost the other 2!!!!!
lol, If we lose on Saturday, what next?
Dazza playing against Burton Albion, What a thought?
