LUFC - Life without Beckford

With Beckford out for the next two games and Leeds failing to
score again without him, the next two games might be cause for concern for the Leeds United fans.

In the 30 games Beckford has played this season he has scored 23 goals.

In those 30 games, Leeds have won 19 games, drawn 3 and lost 8 games,
in those losses Beckford only scored 1 goal!

In the 10 games that Beckford hasn`t played, Leeds have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 7 with a total goal difference of minus 9 and only scoring 6 goals!

Clearly this is a problem that managers have tried to tackle and are
trying to tackle at the moment but maybe its time for the players to step up and take the challenge and show that Leeds United are not a one man team!

Thanks for those stats Gromjo, maybe some of the other strikers need to start pulling their weight (Trundle, no pun intended!) and Beckford can keep his elbows in!!!
the stage is set for Grella to step up and show he has the skill.....he probably doesnt have enough time though to get used to the english game....Becchio has the skill though and I think hes well capable of stepping up...
Nail on the head lads, one man team, u sorely missed him, grella looked decent though, more effective than trundle
Well Trundle looked ***** so that wasnt to here that Grella might be stepping up...we need him to anyway!
I think he is more of a liability than an asset to
Why O why are we a one man team, We should not work around 1 player we should work as a team. we have the capable players but they never step up to the mark & be counted. Life still goes on but I feel with some of the players have no passion in a Derby game & Leeds have lost that cutting edge & do not feel the importance of these games like the Leeds faithful do. We need more Balls in front of goal, Or just 1 at the back of the net a few times.

We need to ditch Trundle to the bench and give grella a proper go. coming on in a crisis fo 15 minutes is difficult. hope the club fines Beckford and keeps plugging away about ref injustice because as Fergie has proved it definatley gets to the refs.
its ***** that we're a one man team!! need to sort that out, it cant last
Just seen the pictures of Ronaldo spitting at Robbie Savage in the Cup game yesterday. Not holding my breath for the FA to launch an investigation into that one .......
as if ronaldo knew anything about passion....just saw the pictures myself there...Hopefully an investigation is can someone show that much disrespect and get away with it...Im bitter about Beckford but Ronaldo should feel the wrath of tha fa as well....
Absolutely no chance...if Bosingwa gets away with it we may as well let Ronaldo write the rules. As far as Life without Beckford goes its a bit life A Life Support Machine at the moment and its the supporters having the heart attack
